Traktor kontrol z1

Considering buying a Z1 and use in conjunction with my launchpad to create a very compact live setup (would replace a much bulkier APC40 + Soundcard setup).

Have there been any confirmation fro you guys that:
a) The midi is definitely mappable to Live (saw a few issue reported)?
b) The soundcard quality is comparible to, say, the N.I. Audio 6 card or alike?

According to NI everything works but i think the drivers are still faulty becasue it should send midi when its not connected to traktor and it doesnt. Im waiting for a week now for a reply from customer support, personally i would wait till the next driverupdate before buying it

The unit itself is build in good quality though
