I apologize as I'm of topic, I didn't watch the Brand interview,life's too short, my response was to funken's usual commie claptrap.

Well at least you have the sense not to waste time reading Brand's nonsense. However I do not write claptrap, I represent socialism, the only alternative to the hell that is capitalism. Nearly half the world's population are sympathetic to my views to the extent of being very dissatisfied with the status quo, half of them to the extent of wanting to ditch the capitalist system.

This guy is a (lame) copycat of an italian comedian called "Beppe Grillo" which organized "revolutions" through the slogan "fuck off" (in italian: "vaffanculo": "V day") using the "V for Vendetta" logo ("V" in italy stands for "fuck off") and nowadays has a populistic party called "5 stars movement" which has 25% of votes in Italy. In my opinion Grillo is a pseudofascist, like Marie Le Pen in France (even if disguised as a "liberator" with solutions in his program that remind a leftish program). Russel Brand on the contrary is just fake and ridicolous, he (badly) imitates Grillo and the "interview" is clearly staged. As far as I know, the most important thing about him is that he was Kety Perry's husband or smth He is as "revolutionar" and "anarchist" as my potatoes in the garden (with a dfference: my potatoes are useful).

I agree with this statement. Comedians and entertainers have a long history of giving socialism a bad name. Then again, most socialists have a similar history. At least Brand is mildly entertaining.

Yes Foxcon is a workers collective! You could easily reverse those numbers and be believable, but even then Socialism has never existed for any length of time on it's own, there's elements of capitalism and/or military dictatorships mixed in for fun and profit. Mostly the West has social democracies with a capitalist economic structure. Not socialist, but a bit better than the states, that's all. Pro tip, because you have universal health care in no way makes your owning class magically disappear. 90% 0f what you say about the USA is true about Italy, and you can't see it.

A lot of his humour is derived from the contrast he creates between his immature screen persona and the occasional glimmer, no matter how fleeting, of intelligence that he is able to throw our way. It's a rather cheap technique, which becomes rather dull all too fast, but you've got to love him for trying.

After all, the government caused him to take lots of drugs when he was younger, so he's a victim.
