I've had it for some time. Let me say this, sonically, it is amazing. It can be really thick and heavy, with good options for tweaking the sounds and all that fun stuff we like to do. Keep in mind it is very CPU heavy too. With that said, I am disappointed with it in that I experience bugs in the Spectrum part of the interface. Sometimes I get a sound that is almost there and one little tweak and then the sound completely changes and no parameter I adjust has any effect, I then have to delete it and insert a new instance. That has really been disrupting for me to get into any real workflow with it. I wish Ableton would just buy out Amazing Noises on this and write it as an actual plug in that is separate from M4L, as it tends to feel clunky at times when I need efficiency.

Also, I think Ableton should offer demos of their Live Packs so the user can actually find out if it's right for them and if they can incorporate it into their workflow. I haven't took a chance on buying a Live Pack since and probably never will again unless I can try it first. I hope Ableton takes note of that if they want to make more money.

Actually, we're doing it now. You'll find a demo version for almost every new packs. M4L is different though, because of it's "open-source" nature.

That's good to know... Unfortunately it's the M4L ones that I would want to demo first to see how nicely they play in my setup, because it is the open source nature that I find stability problems with.
