I wish the Icelanders would chime in on this bullshit.
They're probably writing stuff on their own branch of puppyLinux that will take the rest of the world 20 years to appreciate. Genuinely, that is, sans the pitchfork dorks.
And it will ironically sound like this

That's a pretty 1935 German mentality you have going on there.TomViolenz wrote:And still are so much more useful members of humanity...

I'm just quoting another poster here, who no one suspects of being German, 1935 or otherwise ....stringtapper wrote:That's a pretty 1935 German mentality you have going on there.TomViolenz wrote:And still are so much more useful members of humanity...

You failed to understand the context between living to be 6 days old and 60 years old.
Nonetheless that statement I made isn't truly a part of my character since I don't take the butterfly effect for granted but as a tangible example between someone who lives to be 6 days old vs 60 years old there's more chance of more number of things a 60 year old person has done vs 6 days old so just let it go, Nancy

Still don't understand why the OP is cruel, it's just fact.

no, I think it was just a slip of the tongue and I'm milking it for more than it was worth....stringtapper wrote: But he must be a conservative, right?
No one ever suspects the German of being humorous

Wait, as the type of american I portray myself on here, isn't that supposed to be the same as a 1935 german?

But wait a minute, this is confusing, when someone was asking "I don't know how I should feel about something I could find out for myself, would you guys decide for me?", I asked 'How about you form your own opinion?" ...so which time period and nation does that represent? does that fit into...whatever I can't keep track.
btw it'd be cooler to not have to point this out but unfortunately it needs to be pointed out that I'm not angry as I type this it's coming from a more fun, competitive 'let's spar, bitch', but the other side doesn't get that (one of the folly's of only seeing text and not tone)
OP you're best to stick with your lappy until you can get a better lappy probably or cheaper DIY desktop or even a used MBP from a couple years ago.
Also seeing as how it looks like the other 'ecosystems' are catching up to Apple on all sides, there will proably be a deluge of developers making apps that will catch up with the ones iP* has supported but Apple may still have the upper hand in a nuanced way when it comes to audio s/w to h/w handshakes.

Are you addressing me?
If so, my remark about useful human beings had neither anything to do with you (I for some reason just found it clever as a response to the myopic non-sense Loop wrote) nor the OP.
OP seriously, this was a somewhat dumb question, and beats answered it in the second post much nicer than I would have.
I thought this had already turned into one of these standard contentless threads in the Lounge, where we all can't decide, if we would rather jest with each other, or piss each other off. You could call it entertainment, I guess....

Indeed sir, I, as well, was jesting, with a little extra zeal as I had previouy injested some ipas whilst also jesting (or roasting) with a comrade, in the middle of moving. It's a bit traumatic
