Are you dense?!
The fact that
USER fucking mode is for the user to put something in, that is not supplied or influenced by Ableton, has nothing whatsoever to do with Ableton not supplying a ControllerEditor. Those things are not mutualy exclusive, you know?!
Yes, I agree they should have supplied one. NI did with Maschine and it allows me to do glorious things with it even though I long ago stopped using the Maschine software.
But your lack of knowledge on the difference between making your own script(or buy 3rd party) and supplying an Editor for the User mode, does not allow you to put words in my mouth.
Get informed, before you rant at me, dude!

As well as being extremely rude you also appear to be the one who is dense. Where exactly have I put words in your mouth and yes I am fully aware of the differences between user scripts, third party scripts and controller editors.
The strange thing is that you also agree with me in that you also think that Ableton should have supplied an editor for user mode.
And don't forget that you were the one to start a "rant" with me as per the below quote:
"What are you talking about, non existing user mode?!
That's exactly the point of a User mode, that a third party (or the user) makes their own script to load there."
What you said above is only
your opinion of what a user mode should be and may not necessarily coincide with what other people consider a user mode should be.
You may be perfectly happy to use clyphx and PXT but that should not be the expected requirement to access user mode. When compared to other midi controllers the lack of an editor for Push is subpar. So get of your high horse, at the end of the day you are just another end user just like the rest of us.
I do own both PXT Live and PXT General but that doesn't mean that I excuse Ableton for not providing an editor.
