Re: All up in my grill
What I really want to get going is a szechuan sauce. They don't seem to be available much and I've been refining this chicken/rice/veggie meal for the past couple years and since adding a szechuan it seems to have balanced it out.

Hmmm, I may try some from that first link, unless you insist the 2nd one is the bomb.
I'm also going to research recipes and maybe mix and match some stuff then find an asian store around here or even order stuff online.
Or assuming your offers to help are ignored; I'm sure more people have been helped than you know, they just don't say anything. Don't sweat the small stuff.
So did you grill or have barbecues in East Germany?

I see where you're coming from but you seem to come to conclusions that may not be true, like from assuming implications. Really on the defensive when it's possible someone didn't mean to offend, or at least as much.As such giving a wiki link to the general explanation of BBQ, implying that I don't know about wikipedia or am lazy, is just plain arrogant and rude.

Kung Pao (Szechuan Dry Chilli Stir Fry) is me fav. - Chilli Ginger Garlic is nice too.
When I post links, it's for everybody. Here it was just like "hey look, I spare you some clicks"…
Some folks get easily offended, smell arrogance & pretension at every fucking corner… I really wonder why that is…

The same pretty much as nowadays. The meat is probably better now, but I was young then and am a vegetarian now. So I really can't tell.shadx312 wrote: So did you grill or have barbecues in East Germany?
But yeah, the usual German way to grill: charcoal grill (grill much too close to the heat) leave the meat until it's almost burned, sprinkle some beer over it, act like you are a master chef

That uncalled for pic of Dr. Asperger might have had something to do with it...steko wrote: Some folks get easily offended, smell arrogance & pretension at every fucking corner… I really wonder why that is…

Ableton Forum • View topic - Hipsters have infiltrated NASA f. (just one example of MANY…) -> Asperger PicIndividuals with Aspergers also have an impaired theory of mind which makes it difficult to understand the thoughts, feelings, and intentions of other people and how that relates to oneself. They have a hard time picking up on unwritten social rules involuntarily that neurotypicals would perceive as obvious.

So you are saying you were just talking about yourself, when you posted that pic, and we shouldn't mind you?!steko wrote:Ableton Forum • View topic - Hipsters have infiltrated NASA f. Du bist einfach nur 'n ziemlich fieses Arschloch. Mehr muss ich glaube ich dazu nicht mehr sagen.
Re: All up in my grill
Sounds not too healthy...put the steaks directly onto the coals
Re: All up in my grill
I ordered up one of these bad boys

It runs off the 16 oz canisters but you can get a converter hose to run off the 20 lb tanks for if/when I move to a place that respects me as an adult that can handle the responsibility of a normal tank without burning the building down. Also I’m not losing much grilling space compared to the grill I can no longer use.
But with the extra stand, cover, and light I think it came out to more than what my big grill cost.
A few months ago I tried that short direct on the coals cooking method. Turned out quite well for those who like their meat rare or medium rare, and I do.
