Re: Max 7
Yes ideally they should make a Pack out the new 7 content, because most of the patches I'm going through I think are old anyway...
also excuse me if this is dense since I'm not fully awake yet, but are you getting the presets to work? It must be a path setting...

I haven't opened any of the newer M4L devices in Live yet. Still having fun with the new timestretching stuff in Max 7 itself.shadx312 wrote:also excuse me if this is dense since I'm not fully awake yet, but are you getting the presets to work? It must be a path setting...
You mean presets within Live's browser, right?

Re: Max 7
I'm seeing the presets here.
EDIT: I'm seeing them but it doesn't look like any of the new devices have any presets, just the old ones.

Re: Max 7
Right now I'm on Bit-player which seems to be the good generic sample quantizer/slicer to check out. It's got some quality and mode options to choose from. Strange that there isn't a reverse option.
3 of the mode options destroy the cpu (and I'm on an i7 4810MQ).
Not sure if you could do this before but you can drag a clip from session into the sample window. I thought it had to be from the browser.

Re: Max 7
So glad that now they include the Max 7 pack for free. What do you think about the quality of the devices compared to similar commercial products and which one do you like the most? It really puts more value of the Max for Live.

No you could always do that, also you can drag from the arrangement and whatever you highlight simpler/sampler will set up as the start/end points.shadx312 wrote:Right now I'm on Bit-player which seems to be the good generic sample quantizer/slicer to check out. Anyway the max 7 live pack...I can't believe tHe amount of content is in it. The midi send and receive May be simple but it's going to tidy up a lot of what I do. As for the rest of it, it all looks really really cool. And no fanfare! Thank you Ableton!

Re: Max 7
I wish Max will have a better update system one day, instead of downloading around 500mb for each update. May be together with Live auto update.
