i miss the feature which enables you to load sets while playing... you know
kind of split screen to ping pong your projects...

i have a hardware-sampler but i am to lazy and its anoying to use it
just until live loaded the next project... byside i dont want carry all the stuff
justbecaue of the transitions between two ready tracks..

push is so friendly and hook into the last opened instance..but its
really just dumb to stop the song before via mouseclick...

How about a tuner and some pitch correction? Every other DAW has these basic tools.
iMac, MacBook Pro, Live Suite, Reason, Logic Pro, Melodyne, FL Studio, iConnect Audio4+, Little Martin, ukelele, Greco gtrs, pedalboard, amps, mics .

I bitched about a tuner in all the betas. It's not going to happen. What, do you think the republicans are going to get the senate? Or that the SF giants are going to win the world series? Get real.

I hate it when Live is asking me for save changes when i am on stage...
why can we not configure the behaviour in a production mode (always save every thing all 2 minutes)
and LIVE-Mode (never save a change or save it only when i tell you to cntr-s) checkboxes ect...

please use them, ABLETON !

tuner, pitcher and please let us pre-load one other .ALS, so we don`t have to clap while loading
the next set....

THX but worthless

Yes, one would think that a DAW that has an audio effect called "Amp" would include a tuner... But then they screwed up the APC Mini and APC Key 25 by not providing Session Overview or even Bank select like the Push (and even Launchpad) and APC40 and APC40 Mk 2, and.. and...

I love Akai and Ableton, but they really need to fire the guy(s) who made that design decision...

You can use Spectrum as a tuner by setting it up in logarithmic mode to display notes instead of frequency.

Besides, Amp and Cabinet can also be used with a "virtual" sample-based clean guitar or bass patch or any other synth or sound source really.

1. Overkill, and an awkward workaround.
2. One should be able to use Amp with an audio input from a real guitar.

It is really easy to include a tuner, and a stupid omission for those who want to use Ableton Live with actual live instruments played by real live instrumentalists (guitar, cello, bouzouki) instead of whack-a-mole 8x8 grids....

Yeah because guitars are the only "real" instruments anyway. Hell if there isn't guitar and singing it isn't even music.

Well, there is also violins, cellos, and a few other instruments that might need tuning ... But hey, if a DAW that does mostly tribal drums and noisy squeaks satisfies your needs... :)

(But it is true that Amp sucks compared to even a number of free amp sims around....)

But I guess I am hyperbolizing again.... silly me..:)

^^^ Free VST tuner. Works perfectly. Not like there's CPU issues with a tuner, so no real need for a native one IMHO.

Yeah, even bitwig doesn't have a tuner.

Anyways, it's a feature request that more people support than I thought they would. There seems to be some kinda conspiracy being against it though

A Tuner would be just be another button or another option to clutter up the clean and minimalistic interface of Live. And Live is all about the quick and easy workflow.

Besides, while Live is perfectly able to integrate guitars and Live instruments into its workflow, it’s primarily and openly a performance-based electronic music DAW. If “whack-a-mole 8x8 grids” aren’t your thing, you may consider using another DAW or if you really want to use Live and need a tuner, you can either get a dedicated Guitar Amp plug-in (which will be infinitely better than Amp and Cabinet).
