I just tested the final Arkaos 3.5 HW Mac beta... incredible! The interface still needs a bit of work, but the speed, effects, and smoothing of the output are fantastic. The Core Image effects are especially impressive, and all of the processing of the HW effects is done in the GPU on your video card, so they are quick.
It should be available on Monday. Check it out!

Hi, VJ Fader here, the creator of Neuromixer, we are all about AV performance software.elementv wrote:So has anyone been using anything for A/V performances? i hear a lot about vj software but not much about actually using them together.
AVmixer Pro is your standard audio visual mixer with basic effects. The cross fader fades both audio and video. There is built in EQ for each channel of video. (note: stick with Quicktime Player version 6.5 because there is a problem with audio if you use QT7, this will be resolved in the future.)
AVplayer HD is single channel version of AVmixer Pro, but twice as powerful and can support high rez video playback.
AVdrum 0.2 (free!) is an audio video step sequencer, check the demo video to see what it can do. You can use it as a AV drum machine for triggering. This will defenitely open up lots of possibilities for those who are interested in AV performances.
