Peeddrroo, now i'm home with the monitors, i have to agree with Marco: the bass is very nice. Full and bouncy... my mistake, better have shut up...
Ok, this is my modest contribution to the thread, as i said in previous post:

Not sure if this is a good track (and too much limiting!), but at least i had a time limit, which saved me from thinking too much and helped me make quick decisions. The separate tracks provided by the band were very difficult to work with because i could hear a lot the other instruments (bass, shamisen, gamelan) sneaking in their mike (they recorded live). So i had to work a lot with the stereo mix and heavy duty brickwall filtering.But Ableton Live was the best companion for this.
