I once did Sound Design for a whole episode of The Twilight Zone with my mouth
(I got bored using samples after 100 episodes)...
probably got lost in the musics string section though.

Yeah I think Jamie Lidell and Kid Beyond (name change?)are very different though both incredibly talented. Had the good luck to see JL in Glasgow last month. Blew my fucking head off. Really giving it all he had. One minute it's BRUTAL throbbing techno beats, then he sounds like Marvin Gaye... brilliant, and I have to admit I went with great misgivings as I saw him perform with Matthew Herbert and wasn't impressed. So he more than impressed me.
Kid Beyond - yep amazing. Another beatboxer I love is Radio, who used to (still does?) perform with Spearhead. Awesome.

Funny, all I get is a high pitched squeak out of mine. Perhaps you have to tighten your skin!

Did anyone catch the name of the mac version of the translator app. he uses to go from midi to keystrokes.

Just watched it and yeh, very cool. Not my style musically but can certainly appreciate it.
Woudl like to see him live as teh video doesnt do justice to the sound.

Hell yeah! This guy is sick...He just gave me some ideas! Take beatboxing, and use them for DJ sets.
