Um... I watched the video and have to say I didn't see much brutality. I've certainly seen the police doing worse in the uk!

It's interesting to see what the media shows for public consumption. It is immediately weighted with images of guns and heavy narcotics. Not saying that they weren't there but the stock footage adds a lot of bias. The statements made by the reporter are far from unbiased at best. No wonder why the average plugger has immediate negative associations with raves and kids partying. It would be interesting spinning the same reporting style on state sponsored county fairs. There are far more drugs, guns, and violence there than just about any party I have been to.

Just remember the old phrase when you go to jail:
God bless America
The land of Freedom
Remember..

Do you really think that Bush has any real power, let alone clear knowledge of the true forces that are guiding the planet's wealth?

No matter who was elected in the last election or will be elected in the next the same immovable giants control everything that is controllable on this planet. And these giants are not people, they are obvious ills of the human state in their most extreme form.

Greed, avarice, fundamentalism, insecurity, hate, abuse, intolerance, ignorance ... etc etc.

From time to time, like a pop star, certain faces are associated with power, but really they are just the poster boy for the mob element of human nature's errors at a particular point in time.

Rave at your own risks. Everyone knows the fucking laws. Most of this shit is so illegal, and if the event itself isnt, almost everything that goes on is. There are drugs in every event in the world. SO, if it gets shut down, ohh well, thats the price you pay.

There are too many fucking drug users crusading for freedom. Laws are laws. I do shit in the clubs all the time when I go out. If I get busted for it, im ready to except it. its just the risk you take.

Yeah I am with Komplex on this one. What I take issue with is that it was TOTAL overkill for a rave. They could and should have done this with plain clothes cops, no need for para-military action, that is just absurd. All this will do is feed into the police state delusions some have already. If it turns out they really did have proper permits than that is another story and would show total disregard for the constitution, but I wouldn't bet on that until we see the facts.

What I didn't see was police brutality, that was no evident on the video anyway. When you get forcefully arrested you get thrown around, that is just the way its done.

All in all I found the whole thing absurd. We have open borders that need to be secured, shutting down a rave is inconsiquential. Ravers sure are a menace with all their dancing and listening to music! ha. You could bust ANY concert and find the same amount of drugs etc. I doubt we hear much more about this incident.
I am neither a jockey nor do I spin anything....
