no this week-end is my birthday, haven't seen the fam in months so i'm hangin with them..

rahzel is the shit for sho, it's just that kenny has assertained a level of skill that rah hasn't reached yet, that doesn't mean that rah can't make better albums. Creativity, skill, and showmanship are definitely not the same things. I don't think kenny has creativity over rah and I don't think rah has skill over kenny.

I know one thing. I wish I could do that shit

But these people don't even play instruments? They just make funny noises! Where's the skill in that?

Sort of had to think through to why Mohammed "the beatboxer" did so well. Did he practice either listening to a recording or rehersing with a live orchestra? Its not unreasonable to know otherwise how he could have been so on cue in such a unorthodox collaboration as this between beatboxing and classical styles. As a Dj/musician/beatboxer, I can often be inspired right away an start adding my own elements sometimes perfect other times not so perfect. im wondering if this was the same for Mohammed "the beat boxer" upto performing live. This was a beautiful collaboration no less. I would like to know his secret to success.

as with any instrument, with the voice its EXTREMELY important to record and listen to yourself. You cant get a good idea of what you sound like, with out hearing it from another source, so recording is by far the best way to practice.

do you think planting some micro-microphones inside his mouth would make the whole sound/show more appealing ?
