If you are having trouble loading the .syx, try checking that your in USB1 mode. I am using USB and have Port 1 ON and everything works fine. OSX Tiger, newest firmware on BCR. Love ing this controller!!!! I bought it yesterday on sale at Guitar Center (don't tell anyone i went there). They had it on sale for $119 and then I got the sales guy to know off $10 and billed it as a producer. Out there for $109. Not bad. Wish it wa BUs powered though. Last thing I need is another power cord.

Controlling Effects Question

So everything with the Mackie Control is totally friggin' amazing! I've just reworked an entrie track in just a fraction of the time that I'm accustomed to. Very nice. If only someone would put together a nice .syx for Reaktor 5 ensembles. Maybe I should do it....
I can't seen to get the Effects control to work. Could someone walk me through the selection of a track and then control of effects parameters.
thankyou!

this is very cool.

i'm sure i can sort it by trial and error but is anyone able to describe the controller mapping in detail?

what knobs and buttons map to what MCE functions?

the download should have had a text file with the functions described. Has anyone got the effects to work properly with this set up?

Just downloaded the "another" version and hope this will allow me to store the BCR mackie control as a preset locally on my BCR. Please share your findings with effects control.
thanks! this midi setup is really amazing!

Has anyone figured out a way to solo/cue with the push encoders? can this be done using the Page>> buttons and assigning new midi mappings in Live?

I came back from the travel today!
I received some requests of "Solo"function.

The way is...

(recommend, duplicate this preset to next or previous preset)
set encoder push note number to "8~15"

Though any function cannot be used.(The button of BCR is not enough)

This is a new preset.

http://briefcase.yahoo.co.jp/bc/mackicr ... hoo.co.jp/

add "V-Pot" and Jogwheel bug fix

You can control the levels and pans at the same time.
but,V-Pot has no LED
Please use "Flip" well.

The previous version might possibly be better.
