I don't really care if it is USB 1.1 or 2.0 - as long as it can handle the audio streams w/o issue, then its all good.

I believe it is supposed to be out right after christmas (according to the sonic state video with the A&H rep).

....should be usb 2.0 IMHO
That's interesting. Right in the $$$ ballpark like I first figured. I would imagine that when it hits the stores, you should be able to pick it up for around $2400 (maybe including tax if you can wheel and deal).

Wow. Quite an investment there if this is the path. Makes the Lemur and Mawzer right in their ballpark as well. Hm.

Behringer BCD2000 - for laptop djs on a budget

Less functionality (no midi). Less prestige. Looks smaller. Most importantly much cheaper (250 Cdn.)

If you're looking for a mixer + soundcard on cheap I think this will do the trick.

Like all the other cool gear out there - no release date as yet.

I'm not feeling this one for live. Although you could combine it with the other two interfaces for reall control, I guess. But then you'd need an audio interface still right? Too complicated for set as well if you are gigging a lot and have to set up after another DJ who is already playing...

for the kind of cash it may go for , you could buy a lemur and the XONE FILTER seperatly. That would be a wiser investment in my humble opinion. I wont rush out to buy one , thats for sure.

don't you think the lemur would be prone to "accidental" touch?

lol!

i see what you're saying.....but No , i dont think i'll be accidently touching any parameters. for a start the lemur is bright , so you see everything very clearly.....95% of the controllers on the market have very little (if any) lighting to guide you in dark club surroundings , i believe they would be more prone to accidental touch than the lemur.

hehe.....i will keep that in mind tho

unless of course you are sufferring from a disease of the nervous system... , or if you are blind and you find your way around a controller by feeling around for the fader you want.....
