I had hoped that L6 and the racks would sort a lot of issues for Impulse but sadly it doesn't.
Mainly because multiple Impulse voices all stack up on the same keys, rather than continuing up the octaves.
The other minor issue is that clicking between rack layers to add a few more voices takes away the drag and drop usablity that makes Impulse better than a 3rd party drum player. That might seem really minor but it made me switch over to using Simplers in Racks instead of Impulses. Although Simpler has no choke ability it at least allows a decent amount of voices and I can see them all in the key editor as some kind of "drum edit" mode.
