Did worshop in montreal interest you?
If we are enough maybe we could ask for a workshop from the Ableton team...
...and finish the day with a party!

hello from germany, canadian live-collegues,
I am as a bassplayer doing a small tour with a persian pop band and play on 5th of january 2007 in Montreal and on 6th of january in Toronto.
we arrive on 3rd/4th in Montreal and leave Toronto on 8th.
I would be glad if anyone could give me a few tips for open jam-sessions, live-parties or may be a studio job

that week (especcially on the 4th in montreal and 5th in Toronto), or anything, which is worth knowing, for it is my 1st trip to canada.
thanks in advance
michael

Hello from Vermont! Montreal is the nearest big city to Burlington, and I'd be willing to come up for an Ableton thing, if I could find a couch or a cheap hotel.
Cheers,
jason

You are right Akido.
I lived there when I was at the University.
I like the size, the look and the feeling in this city.
Hey! This city is in the world heritage list of the UNESCO after all!!!
If you are the "real" Akido (sorry I don't want to insult you...), I just want to let you know that I really like "la mémoire de l'onde" et "neurones miroirs" on your "Playtime" album.
If you are interest in doing something in "la capitale nationnale" (workshop, live users meeting or discussions about music), I strated trends there:

Quiet here?
You guys should recognize this. I know its been done before, but I had to give it a go.
Its the classic sound of the Montreal Metro leaving a station.
+ other ablety things of course.

Sup guys,
Formely Logic user Mike Stabba from Montreal finallly moved on to better & simpler Ableton. I originated blue Dog (Mentioned above) back in 2000. Played and promoted Montreal's longest running electroninc weekly called junglist Fridays. Im now located in Quebec City working with M-Audio Canada who is also distributing Ableton Live. I would be interested in a Monteral Ableton user get together! Oh et je suis canadien francais.
Rock.
