It is kind of a bummer that the rev2 TiBooks (550/667) had such slow cache, but even so my load meter in Reason stays at practically nothing. Drums don't really tax the system much -- it's just acting as a fancy sample player. But in all my experiments using Live, and Reason and Live together, I've never had any drop-outs or other performance issues.

yeah i had the Brenthaven. it's a great bag. i really wish i could use the headphone jack. there are a lot of times i don't need alot of outputs but my headphone jack is noisy as all hell. that's a great idea with the drums. are you just assigning different ReDrum sounds to trigger pads? sounds cool.
