I like sampling our 303-909 and then tweaking them out with fx and automation in Ableton.

is the same production process with improved timing using Simple Delays on every track.

We sync that kinda stuff live to turntables as well using another Simple Delay on the Ableton master output that is linked to a fader on a UC33 controlling very precisely the delay time in millisecond. Even a dummy like me can sync vinyl doing that.
