Since I live in Beergium (aka belgium) I know all about it. My number one is Westmalle Trippel Trappist
This is a beer brewed by monks, there are only six beers worldwide that have the right to name themself "Trappist" (and 5 of them are from belgium). It's the only right thing that the catholic church ever did
Its rich and creamy and has an Alcohol% of 9.5

. It is made out of natural ingredients only and nothing chemical. I drink one every day, my age is 36 and I look 25. Thank you Westmalle

favorite beer now is BASS
but I'd honestly have to say the absolute best beer I've ever had was the wheat beer (Hefeweizen) that I've had on tap in Germany the two times I've been there Stuttgart/Hanover/Hamburg. I've tried to find something comparable to that taste and have never come close yet here in the states.
well, if you're after that german/wheat beer taste you want to try more Pilzeners and Lagers - Pale Ale is a more of a British thing

i hope you're joking...

If he's talking about Czech Budweiser - Budvar, then I whole heartedly agree, perhaps with San Miguel just sneaking ahead.
But don't even get me started on that "king of Beers" shite. It's just branding, style over content, all mouth and no trousers...

Probably why I like it. Although I can't do the old wife beater any more (Stella), not that it made me violent or anything. Unlike some people I know.

Best OT topic, EVER.
Free Beer
Fat Tire
Boont Amber (very similar to Fat Tire)
Guinness
Lagunitas IPA
Anchor Steam
I'd heard recently that there are close to no microbreweries in the American south, or none at all. I imagine that's where the Budweiser fans are from. I piss stronger than that crap.

Beer is a sin.

I'm partial to Urquell, for massproduced stuff.
