I've got a thought. What about 127 of those racks all mounted in paralell in a single bigger rack with a midi knob assigned to select which one is functioning? You could then map the 8 macro knobs of the one bigger rack to the same parameters in each, and it would work the same, but you would have 127 patterns at your fingertips, rather than triggering clips.
hmmmmm?!?! I might buy that just to modify it like that and see if I can break my computer...

I think i could find a much simpler solution.
1 knob to select 1 of the 128 patterns and 1 button to launch it.
Though, you can move around in Live 6 by holding alt while pressing the arrow keys. You can move up and down from the control to the pattern section.
And when it comes to bigger racks...
I once built one with 128 samplers that each had 128 different samples.
That preset takes about 8 minutes to load
And the sound aint exactly music...
To be clear about the sequencer. There's a difference between presets and patterns on the Covert Seq.
Patterns are what are feeded to the steps. It is the order in which the steps are played.
Presets are the actual settings of all the parameters. That takes less then a second to load. And you can also access them in the browser without touching the mouse.
