The problem that you may have with the lemur is that the screen is quite small,
I would like to map all of my view of live onto it so you can just push the right clips, but i doubt you could get em all on.
Good idea, should come in various sizes imo.
Don't forget that you can setup as many "interfaces screen" you want though. You can instantly switch from one page to another. Like one screen for track levels, one for clip triggering, one for FX, etc.
So you could have quick page buttons on the side of the screen then?
That would be somthing i could work with. I might try and get them added to my store.

robin - how's the audiofire2? i was thinking about getting one of those. it uses a breakout cable for the midi, right? what's it like? it's not flimsy or anything, right?
In the manual for the LV1 it says that standard batteries will last for 108 hours constant use. (not your duracell M3 energizers etc, they will last a lot longer).
You would need to be constantly engaging the pots for 4 1/2 days solid before they run out.
When the warning light comes on you still have about 20 hours.

very nice very nice;
but who would have the bitstream and who would have the zero?
ive heard a disheartingly amount of people say the bitstream is not up to the hype, the joystick is crap, the right hand buttons are pointless and the mackie emulator randomly assigns midi commands...
But it has all the features i want....
Im going into turnkey to have a play on them both tomorrow but would like to know other peoples opinions also
For djing bitstream or zero?
I have no pets but enjoy drawing pictures of insects and sending them to people

The Bitstream was really the shit when the french guys were making it & there was nothing else out there. I really think someone will announce something better by NAMM.
I have no experience with either the Bitstream or the SL, but I have Novation's X-Station & can vouch for it. I always hear about this or that breaking on them, but I've hauled mine to bunches of parties & shows, thrown it in the trunk on road trips, airplane carry-ons, etc. & it's fine. The LCD is one of the best parts. If you design yr own control scheme in the Novation editor software you can rename everything however you want. I love using my own bullshit names for effects, it's a cheap thrill.
I really think if you go for the SL you should get the one with keys unless you already have a key controller. It will help you figure out the key of tracks while you're warping, and you get the pitch bend stick & XY pad, which are HUGE for DJing.
