I am also planing to buy LM. But is a bit unsure of how well it works in conjunction with Windows XP and Live6.
Anyone out there who knows?

what about the ssl plugins????
this alone may be my deciding factor, as i will not buy another digidesign product just to use pro tools, and i lost my logic express serial # (what a dumbass!)

also been reading on gearheadz.com (not that many but it is alot, not compared to the amount of positives though) people complaining about liquid mix, and it having lots of bugs and other sorts of blah blah, just go on their forum and do a liquid mix search....

I posted a question a while back asking if the Waves SSL were functioing in Live 6 and 2 people replied that they were. That said, I think I have decided to buy the Duende now that its PC compatible and because I don't want to take the CPU hit from the native Waves plugs.

yea from what ive heard the Duende plugins shit all over the Waves ones (for obvious reasons)
the one problem i have with Liquid mix is the 2,056 sample delay, it says most programs Logic/Nuendo (what about Live????does anyone know>?????) correct the delay with compensation but that Pro Tools LE systems dont, and that having 2 instances of Liquid Mix on one track in Pro Tools LE systems exceeds the allowed maximum samples of 4,095 samples allowed in Pro Tools LE (direct quote from Mix magazine-oct 2006) so that kinda sucks too, what if shit like that happens in LIVE?
anyone know from experience????

mono but i think it would poo on all the other stuff discussed here.
EDIT: 6am overstatement... i dont think it would crap on the others in terms of versatility, but this is a really nice rack and i feel it would improve your sound if you are after decent eq and compression
