FWIW I just bit on this:

today's deal was a Washburn Bantam Bass for $350 (list $950), I figure if it sucks I can sell it for what I got it for. I'm sure it'll be fine for starting out, I won't be popping notes for a while.

:lol: I placed the order and they threw in an Audio Technics wireless system for free. That bass is just begging to be covered in stickers.

Do it and sell it for $400 if it sucks. The offer won't last.
