a. It's missing 12 keys........yes, it matters....trust me.
b. automap? what automap? I beleive they have come up with fixes and such so maybe now it's great. But when I tried mine (didn't take long to ship it back) automap was an autoBUST! That was with logicpro and ableton.
c. It was broked out of the box....ok, this doesn't happen to everyone but I think having the far left c key only work with one velocity is depressing after waiting for it. especially when at the time allot of people were reporting defects out of the box.
d. It was flimsy. the knobs and sliders were really jumpy and unresponsive....the pads were nothing short of UN-USABLE! they were really bad. The axiom I eventually bought (which of course, is in the shop) at least had/has great pads....and buttons and knobs that work (now about that lcd display....
e. and to stress my point, for 500 bucks my expectation was that it should rock my world.....not leave much to be desired, maybe that's just me?
So overall, controllers have been a bad investment for me, which is why I rag on them. If I was the only one, I'd just shut up....but I'm not. So in conclusion, I'd rather get jipped for 250 that 500.....since not many, if any, actually work/last.
