Yeah, that would make that product. As it was, it was a fun little diversion. If you plugged it into the effects loop of a high-gain guitar amplifier you could make some seriously demented sounds. It's only other achilles heel was that it had no trim pot, so it worked for some applications and not others. Cool toy for the price though.tell him to start hitting the pipe again and make it into a midi controller that allows you to assign notes or cc's to the various axes rather than an inline audio effect
PS. $70 for MIDI drum pads and an SR-16 is a major score!
