Not directly from Live. To use Undo, or other keycommands ('apple+u', 'apple+z'), This will do the trick.

I hate having to run these extra little 'helpers'.

BTW: If your amp is an open-back type, you can mic it from the rear to cut down on the bleed. You may or may not have to flip the phase of the mic signal, depends on the room & placement - but the cabinet will give you extra isolation from the rest of the band.

Thanks for the reply. Yes we are in agreement, it is silly not to have a "Delete Clip" via midi function. I've seen it come up before but still no dice from the abes.

You can do ANYTHING you want with MAX but it's not necessary in this case.

Kid Beyond does what I described, that's where I learned it, he uses Bomes or Plogue Bidule, dont' recall right now.

I spent US150 getting 15 pushbuttons, a Ipac VE from http://www.ultimarc.com and to made a light steel body.

So I build a footcontroller wich sends letters to my computer via usb.

In my Liveset I add 4 armed loop channels, being fed by a return track named LOOPSOURCE, so that way I can loop not only my input but everything on my set, just open the respective send.

4 buttons are arrows: up down left right to navigate between scenes and channels

4 are assigned to play, loop channel 1 to 4

4 are assigned to stop, loop channel 1 to 4

one is the shift button (only one with led), to change "loop mode" to "navigation mode" when pressed, so the eight play-stop buttons turn into another letters and macros. WIth my autohotkeys I can use this buttons to navigate between browser-devices-slots, undo, quantize types, etc.

Quite useful for what I want, spending less than on those bigger footcontrollers and pedals.

Onstage I have my bass, a guitar and a cavaco plugged into my input source.


Finishing to assemble this baby, I'll post some pics and vids when ready.
