Now hold it... Dont want to start a flame war, by no means... But we have already established, on several occasions, that there is no difference what so ever between the audio engines. That being PT, Logic whatever....

People have done extensive test and the outcome was always total phase cancellation... Am I right !?!?!?
A little bit of both (right and wrong)

Everything I've read here for Logic and Cubase vs Live is complete phase cancellation, therefore no difference. They are all 32 bit floating point (last time I looked) so this makes sense to my tiny mind!

Pro Tools is 48 bit fixed. Every test I've done between PT and Live has not yielded total phase cancellation...there is a difference between these 2 ...BUT....
The differences are tiny and in many ways only scientific (if that makes sense).

I have NEVER been able to actually HEAR the difference. I've never been able to gauge that one SOUNDS better or DIFFERENT than the other. This is the ultimate test. No matter what people may tell you, it is always best to listen for yourself and make up your own mind. If you cant hear a difference in DAW, bit rate or sample rate then don’t worry too much about it and just go with what makes it easiest for you to write and finish good tracks.
