Beer is for people who like to feel bloated and sleepy. At least that is the way it is around here. If we plan to go out and they start hitting the beer at about 6 they are suddenly not interested in going out by 9. And if you are ever interested in getting a little loving from a woman later in the evening don't EVER let her drink beer.

<---vodka or rum here, but I have noticed that if I throw 1 beer somewhere in the mix then I am less hungover the next day...probably becuse it takes me a lot longer to drink a beer and it serves as a break.

Since we've branched into spirits... has anyone tried Gran Patrón tequila? I haven't yet but I hear it's incredibly smooth. Not cheap, mind you.

As for beer, I like to try new ones, so I'm liable to buy almost anything micro or imported. When I'm stuck for choice or time, Stella does the trick.

Hang overs are too bad.
Now I drink vodka with orange juice or cranberry.
No more hangovers, and you dont get tired or mopey. Its a much purer high.
8O

or.......a.........double 8O 8O

Must be nice.......vodka (any vodka) just kills me. The next day is like my blood isn't flowing.....like "I can't move".......I just want to die/can't go back to sleep thing.

The oddest part of vodka for me? I never really feel it.......I never feel super drunk.......just the next day.

So, different.....we all are......

Live near Three Floyds brewery here in the states,... they make a special stout one day a year called Darklord Russian Imperial Stout, and it is amazing... people come from around the world, and the wait is hours to buy the stuff... was lucky enough to try it this year... check it out if you get the chance... (ebay usually has bottles for around 40-80 a bottle USD... it is sold for the bottle as a collectors item,...Ebay expects the buyer to not drink the contents....yeah right!!) this stuff is ranked #3 in the world at ratebeer.com ... enjoy...
