This is pretty good to see. I would be pretty enthusiastic to meet up with other people using Live in different ways. The Clapham things sounds good as my girlfriend lives there but to be honest I'd try to get to most things in Central London unless anyone fancies coming to Folkestone for a day out by the sea?
I don't mind the jam or the beer and pub option. It'd be good to see how people use the software first hand and in the flesh but a get together and chat would also be pretty cool too.
Bottom line:-
Glad this is happening and I'm pretty flexible.

Only just noticed this thread.
Looks like the idea got derailed by a split between those after a monster jamming session and those just after a night down the pub. I bet this never happens in other counties.
For the record, I would have gone for the pub option.

Central and Shoreditch are both good for me. Though I am going to be in Kingston next week - doing an Ableton demo at the Apple Store (with mindlobster).

Any more news on meeting up? A few of us got together a couple of times a year or so ago. The main problem we had was finding a place really. It was good to meet up with other people tho and share ideas, etc. I've not used Live much since then so it would be cool to get into it again.

Nice. Seems like London is the only place in the world that doesn't have a working user group!!

New year, New start?
Can the Ableton peeps of London actually get together for a pint? Let alone use Ableton in the same room!!
As a suggstion, instead of getting every London Ableton User to agree to a single location, maybe someone could suggest a pub and a time and see how many poeple can (be arsed) make it? It doesn't have to be everyone at once does it?
At least something (rather than nothing) would happen.
Opinions please.
