i bet they have bad KYMA... i mean karma.
Actually NO! (no offense) your "karma" is "set" "lifetimes" before your born. Only the west uses "action/reaction", or "cause and effect" to understand karma becuase they don't have any other criteria to define it.smartass303 wrote:Ha Ha...
This is the concept of karma, my friend.

I would never take them as students either. It is not some kind of discrimination, just you cannot teach them anything real, they already know it all, falling into what some wise Lama called "spiritual materialism" where the spiritual path is replaced by its plastic model.
Those fellows are too lazy and comfortable to do any real effort. SO they go for all those "power yogas", super Bhagavan, Rajneesh, Oshos and what not - spirituality as a package tour.
I bet the mother, or girlfriend or the VST author him/herself is one of those.
Actually the foot note there is the most idiotic of it all, basically saying I abuse/insult you but mean no harm.
I hope the coding is at least worth something..
Ironically, I am the child of those types of people. It was "cool" stuff as a teenager when my "friends" were intrigued by my "open mindedness". As an adult, I find it has caused me much pain, confusion and nihilism to see how spirituality has been mixed and matched to suit the self fulfilling needs of the "spiritually superior" around me. I actually have a BA in philosophy and realized that I learned more about the metaphysical universe through studying chemistry, physics and biology over........philosophy.rikhyray wrote:aisling wrote:What about all the millions of gen x and y who cluelessly after a sememster of eastern philosophy ran out to get om tattoo's, picked a copy of the bhagavd gita

true, true, that is what I meant saying we are kind of used to the hippies and their comic book religions. Honestly, if I have such individuals around ( like in the audience) I never say I am Indian or ever heard about Yoga.

Bhagavan, Rajneesh...........now thats a name I have not heard in years until recently when a guy who I am working on a track with had a couple books in his book case (hiding the "I fuck on the first date" dvd) coupled with all the great other reads.......Kant, young, dali lama , deepok.......as well as $$$ worth of "green" supplements, and other new age potions.
As a child my mother associated with many of the rajneeshers....All I rermember is that everybdy was fucking everybody else and tearing apart families........
It seems that 20 years later these people are just as empty and shallow (with morer conversation) as they were when they thought they found the way.

Yeah, I think the Krishna consciousness movement would be more offended by the shitty sound.noisetonepause wrote:I wonder what people would say if somebody made a Christ synth with crosses on the interface, or a Mary, Mother of God drum machine...
This is in very bad taste, although of course it makes a change from the daily commercial abuses of things related to Buddhism.
...Sounds a bit dull, too, doesn't it?

What in the fuck are you smoking?! Don't be stupid enough to start a religious debate on an AUDIO forum because of an AUDIO product. We don't give a fuck about your religion; and frankly you're doing a better job of making it look foolish than we ever could.rikhyray wrote:Perhaps, you should do that first, he just have some common sense, noticing what any civilized person should. Disrespecting other culture, religion for no reason. I might be familiar with Western ways to know that it is just ignorance and stupidity but seems you people bring it on yourself- riots, flying airplanes into your offices. It is sad to see that it has to go to such extremes to make people behave. Effective, since they wouldn't use the name of Allah to name a plug in. Does it always have to go so far to teach you some idea of respect.forge wrote:Nik, switch off the computer and go out for a walknoisetonepause wrote:[ot]

or go and get drunk at a drum and bass club and get drawn on with biro
chill out dude, Krishna dont care!
Those morons use the words like Krishna, Guru which for almost billion people have no less meaning then Allah, Jesus or whatever. Though what you call Hinduism is based on ahimsa, non violence, understanding and wisdom, don't take those as a weakness.
Interesting BTW that those silly comments here come from Brits , seems not much changed since 1947. The "superiority" of the white massa who can do, say anything he may fancy and who cares what "the fucking natives" feel.
And I am not British, I am Italian - born and bread. Seems you judge people solely on their city of residence? Hmm, not setting a good example are you?
Now I'm off to develop a synth, which I will call "Krishna sucks my balls - and those of small children".
I knew I liked you besides your great music.pulsoc wrote:Sweet! Me too!aisling wrote:Actually I am pretty low on the evolution chain. You should see me get angry, lustful, envious and prideful......oh and I love me some violence when called for.

You guys crack me up...
So if you're Christian/Jewish and like this synth, you're going to hell...You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
I bet they were pitching names with a guy in the corner searching google at the same time...
"How about... SupaPhat?"
- "Trademarked!"
"Ok... How about... Viße?"
- "Trademarked!"
"How about... Bo.."
- "Trademarked!"
5 Hours later..
"How about... SynthKore?"
- "Trademarked!"
"FFS!"
"How about... Krishna?"
- "I wonna go home!"
"C'mon, look it up."
- "Screw you Hippie, I'm going home."
"Good enough for me..."
