I'm waiting that Ableton support Eucon to purchase MC-Mix. Now, it's the only surface control that interest me. APC40 is a different thing, I need motor faders and parameters monitoring, and MCU is very big. But Ableton seems that only support cheap new controllers of another brand.

I don't know if Live works fine with MC-Mix/Control on Mackie Control protocol. For example, how it control device parameters.

I'm on the market for an MC Mix also and I understand that you loose the ability to edit plugins,etc... unless you use Eucon protocol.

What else do you loose access to under Live?

What features does the Mackie or HUI protocols support on top of regular midi mapping?

Are we going to get Eucon support? or will Live get left out in the cold.

It's a bit off that we don't even get an acknowledgment of our concern, let alone an answer...

Also for me, EUCON support is most important for the credibility of LIVE DAW !!!
I work every day with LIVE, end my mc/mx is in stand-by. Producing with LIVE end mixing in LOGIC....

Oh, and from the Euphonix website:

"And MC Control, MC Mix, and MC Transport now support the Windows 7 operating system as well as Mac OS X". (http://www.euphonix.com/artist/solutions/)

So more reasons for Ableton to add Eucon support imo.

I got myself the MC Transport.... must say im extremely impressed.

I didnt get it specifically for Ableton, i do fair bit of video editing, but its seems very versatile in terms of what you can assign manually etc.

I was able to get jog wheel working with Abletons timeline and parameters.

Im seriously considering the MC MIX to add to it... although the lack of eucon is a massive disappointment.

Do you get plugin parameters in mackie control mode or is it really just volume pan and mutes?

Please ableton support eucon!!

isn`t it possible to do this with max4live somehow? but would be really great, when ableton would implement this someday. the euphonix controllers are really amazing!

At this point Euphonix can probably add the support themselves. Nobody is stopping the dudes making the python scripts for the iPad. What is stopping Euphonix?
