And I just want to add that I am desperately looking forward to being able to use automat in mono mode with legato. Is that not coming until the final release Stiwi?
i think that legato mode will be working with the next build

Hey by the way Stiwi, have you noticed that every time you load an au preset of automat, the plug-in window shifts down and to the right a bit? So when you're trying different presets the window gradually moves diagonally right and down. Nohing very serious, just thought I'd mention it.

Also, are the other automat skins still available? I remember at one point the download package came with a little skin installer, but I think I lost that.

cheers

Ok. The next build (27) is ready 4 download. This time it adds a very (very) basic POLY/MONO/LEGATO feature, and a new preset to test MONO mode with. (SK Pad SunBlaster)

Again. Please use the ugly script installer to enable the font fix! and to install everything to the right location.

That sounds like a serious easter bug.
But seriously, i tested it with live, logic, bidule and everything seems to work like expected. No moving windows!

The skins stuff will be available again in the final version of automat.
The plug-in will be free but i'll charge $99,99 for every skin.

cheers,
stiwi

I can confirm this.
Are you building and testing on an Intelimac???

 Umm,,,
Have you put any thought into opening up automat to allow the user to build their own wave tables?
I'm a big fan of using these http://galbanum.com/products/architecturewaveforms-ce/
in a rack of simplers to build sounds and textures. However, i'm kind of limited in terms of being able to route modulation options.

Yes. Is this a known problem on ppc mac's?

Thanks for the link. Very interesting.
Right now you can just put AIF files into the presets/alphakanal/automat1/samples folder.
Put the oscillators in SAMPLE mode to use the samples.

I'm sure i used to have a rack with a drum kit made out of automats :?
I know i don't have it now as it was on the MBP that died and i couldn't get any of my shit off of it before it went to the morgue.
Have a look in the tips and tricks forum.
