Should sampler obviously have timestretch?

I am so damn sick and tired of paying for each new version of Live, and still not having timestretch/pitchshift in Simpler/Sampler.... I'm like really getting mad over here!!!

unfortunalty i think its time for people to wake up and realise that albleton works to their own agenda and that agenda has almost nothing to do with what the user Realy wants. their are lots and lots of threads from years gone by that prove this beyond reasonable doubt.

getting stressed over the lack of basic features is futile in the light of seeing so many threads from YEARS! gone by and seeing that time and time again those basic features are still missing.

personaly im supprised to see that people are holding out for features from 2008 and even before insted of jumping ship and switching to the software that gives the functionality you need.
honestly abletons rep is so low in my book thesedays, i doubt they could even redeem themselves if they even wanted to and tried.

i dont think they have it in them anyomore, native instruments are far and away more in tune with the contemporary electronic musicians needs that ableton.

people woujld be wise to just accept ableton for what it is and just use other software to fill in the blanks, i came to terms with doing this and havent looked back, and find it a much less streessfull place to be.

That's just it. No other DAW does have functionality like Ableton's!

people came very much to terms with the quirky ableton politics during the last years..what ultimatly leaded to the buggy L8 mess..
is ther more needed to show thats essential to open the mouth and getting a bit louder about what users really wish?

besides,. its onky a question of time that a competitor will show up.. ableton got a big market share very quickly..that must have shown some others the demand after pattern based music software...

A competitor will be beneficial for all of us.. people that want can leave the stinking ship..and the others will benefit from a highly motivted ableton that will fill all the gaps in no time to dont loose too much customers..

yeah I too unfortunately am starting to feel that ableton cares far more about marketing than customer satisfaction. It's like, once ableton got the initial money, which is nothing cheap, it's only concerned with coming up with strategies to get more money from you. I used to feel a very deep connection to this software as my relationship goes almost back to it's first versions but I just hate giving my HARD FUCKING EARNED money to business' that don't really listen to their customers. And ABLETON!!! Hello! Can you HEAR US!?!?

How about they just GIVE us Sampler? I've spent a lot of money here over the years. Seems like they could include Sampler and maybe Amp (every other software gives you an amp sim included) for regular Live users. Yes on the timestretching.
iMac, MacBook Pro, Live Suite, Reason, Logic Pro, Melodyne, FL Studio, iConnect Audio4+, Little Martin, ukelele, Greco gtrs, pedalboard, amps, mics .
