Behringer BCR 2000 questions
I got a friend who ditched his Novation and completely removed all novation automapping software from his system. Now his BCR stays connected all the time.kemiko wrote:I have a novation remote yes... could that be the problem?
Before that the novation was causing audio glitches, even though its a freaking MIDI controller.
Remove Novation software from your system and the BCR should work fine.
I just got the bcr2000
I kind of understand how to automap, but my problem is that when i move the knob on the bcr, the knob in Live moves ina funny way
I know I am using the "absolute" parameter
i tried the various options but no joy
any help?
so far the bcr works but not very well, any help in more than welcome

For some reason now it seems that the main issue i have is that when i assign a value to a knob, sometime it is picked up, by live, sometime it says in the bottom something like "Envelope attack time is waiting pickup"
And when i turn the know i can see the attack time value change in the status (at the bottom) but the sound doesnt change and the attack is not changed within operator...

are you sure you have it set as a controlsurface?
this sounds like what happens when you manually assign a midi control and use one of the odd 'pick-up' options in preferences,
Also make sure that you have an output active to the BCR in preferences. You shouldn;t need any pickup options because the BCR does not have potentiometers, but continuous controllers - the BCR should just immediately display the parameter and likewise in Live.
no delays, no pick-up modes.
