:D Now that mdk told what he thought, I feel free to say I find it totally uninteresting.
The guy at the right probably broke his back pushing his beat repeat button on uc33 !

i was referring to the fools in the youtube video.

Exactly. There's something incredibly Boy-Bandish about these guys. They're so pretty and Twink-Like. There's another vid of them playing live instruments - including a fucking Keytar for God's sake - that is just plain painful to watch.

And the hoodies? My God.

I'm not joking.

I'm a DJ.

in regards to the first video... I mean honestly, I'm not impressed at alllll with their live performance.. It looks like a bunch of emo tools that just went out and bought live, warped some tunes then bought a bunch of midi controllers then took acting classes in order to sort of look like they know what they're doing. not tryin to hate... just callin it how i see...

Okay, point taken. Pitch Black IS Pitch Black after all.

haha.

normally i wouldnt bother commenting on stuff i dont like, i would just let it pass, but im realising its important to provide some level of balance, like we get from b0unce and TITBAG.

most stuff is shit and we cant have everything being some big circle jerk about how great things are when they're clearly not.

so, come on everyone, dont hold back. be honest.

This thread is full of haters. Its easy to talk shit, but there was plenty of people at that club dancing and enjoying the moment. Thats what matters, not a bunch of fellow producers/DJ's bitching about someone else's music.

that's a partial fail - I'd note that not a lot of the comments talk about the music - the talk circles around the traditional dj posturing more than anything.

BUT then I'll also agree with you a bit. I really dug the music actually, but they were just djing, prompting bile about how djs get all the chicks.

I am no longer bitter.

for me it was the whole package, posturing and the music that was rubbish.

when you say 'its easy to talk shit', well its just as easy to say 'oh, thats great'. sending messages to a forum is not like real work, you know coal mining or something.

what else is there to say? there's nothing intellectual to be gained from discussing what they did. laptop, live, beat repeat, shit music.

im glad there was people there enjoying it. good for them. really.

i enjoyed not being there.

can we get a moderator in to lock this thread i think its over now.

thx.
