that's what's so great about the leobodnar units. They're throw-away cheap, almost, yet will run 32 buttons and 8 VERY HIGH RES knobs, a lot higher than regular midi.
ok, and solderless connectors can be had for a bunch more $... so, why not package it with a box with a lid with some holes in it for buttons, knobs and pov hat, and then the buttons, knobs and pov hat :) (it will still end up costing more than one of those nanokorg dealies, but i guess you get the fun of snapping it together).

you can use a simple joy2midi app, there are free ones out there. They show up like joysticks...
Do you know a name of a good joy2Midi app? One that also reads the analogue outputs of the leobodnar - 8 analogue and 32 switch outs - fucking awesome!
