I recently thrown a full glas of fine redwine across my table at 4am including
Computer Keyboard, Nord Modular, Multiface, Powercables, Lamp.
A real strike
After a few seconds of shock, i rapidly switched all power off.......all save. no loss of gear - happily.

My mate spewed all over my turntable once at a house party. My Big Fun record instantly ruined. The sight of the needle trawling through all that sick whilst the deck was still spinning will be imprinted on my brain forever.

Thankfully, I never spilled beer on my studio gear - I did spill a full glass of red wine on my playstation once, then turned it off, rinsed under the tap, dried in the airing cupboard and it works still today (that was about 8 or 9 years ago!).
I always keep my beer on a different surface to my studio gear - apparently a good plan having read previous posts here!

I think a burning Synclavier beats everything else in the thread so far. By quite a margin.

you know what that means, right?
... it never happened
seriously though, this one takes the cake.
I love how the Lemur has that rubber lining protecting it from spills... thankfully I've never needed it.

Pint of beer in a bag of records when djing
Bottle of gin in amp at a show
Glass of gin in desk at rehearsals
Pint of snake bite and black into the monitor desk during somebody elses gig. blew the power to the whole room.......never rest drinks on top of those plastic flight cases...they can walk!
