btw, I'm still using Live 6, so maybe it is only a problem in 7?

I do get this problem sometimes using Virus Ti, but only sometimes.
It is not constant.

I don't know about Live missing the first note...
But I wanna chime in regarding the problem some have, with notes hanging when useing ext synths. I had that problem. It is solved simply by not having an output on your recording track. (Or set it to monitor off)
