What Happen? Someone set us up the bomb!
Of course.
This thread is the funniest one on the whole interweb.
today anyway!

I slipped into a daze, whilst I was there I heard the most startling music, it was at once familiar and alien, reassuring and unsettling.

I wonder...have you ever heard about Bill Gates?.....by the way, somehow, infiniteB wrote:evon wrote:didn't you ever look at anybody else's computer? I am sorry but you must be one hell of a nerd or you are just trying to make us laugh![]()

I never had the need to look at anyone else's computer... I work a lot and don't associate with many people... Ever since my Texas instruments TI 99/4A, my Apple IIC, and onto my current MAC, I've had all the computer contact I need by myself... Occasionally, I send what is now called email (it used to be simple BBS messages), but I do this through command lines... and I occasionally make some music with Ableton Live... I have no need to use anyone else's computer... The last time I did was well over 10 years ago. I may be a nerd. I may be 10 years behind the times. I eat well, though, and am voting for Barack. That should at least make up for it.
These "home pages" make so much sense! Some are like tables of contents, others are like front pages of newspapers...
P.S. I just imagine you having one hell of a laugh on us all. Afterall you seem to be the real computer-man.
Somehow...I like your thread
fe real!
Bill Gates? Of course... Who hasn't.
I don't know why you think anyones lack of knowledge/understanding of something is funny, but I've heard worse... Yeah, I've had computers for a while, but they're a tool to me... I don't know much about them... If the "home" button on my keyboard hadn't been depressed all this time, I probably would be "hep" or "with it" or "down" or "up to date" or something...
So, back to my question, can a website have more than one "home page", or is that not possible yet?

Yeah I had a football and soccer game and some kind of dungeons and dragons type game on it..i remember the speech thing. i might actually still have this in storage along with my odyssey 2, which also had an optional speech synthesizer, i need to dig this crap out and mess with it.infiniteB wrote:Yeah--- 16K RAM, and a big ass, HEAVY "Peripheral Expansion Board"..... I had a game "Bruce Lee" that I used to play for hours and hours on it... And I had the optional speech synthesizer too... The TI was hardcore.Debra Van Valkenburg wrote:hah holy crap i had one of these..infiniteB wrote: Ever since my Texas instruments TI 99/4A
Hey... does anyone know if websites can have more than one homepage? Forgive my ignorance, but again, I'm new to them...

I heard about Ableton Live from a friend who makes music with 4 guitar strings and a mic, and is on some Bowie-tpe level-type shiz... He was using using Ableton Live to record, and I was over his spot, and saw Ableton Live for the first time...evon wrote:So...how did you hear about Ableton Live and how long ago did you start using it?infiniteB wrote:Bill Gates? I started using Ableton Live a few years back, but only really started using it when I bought it earlier this year and moved from my Motif/Tracktion platform to my Stylus RMX/ Massive/ FM8/ Novation Remote SL/Ableton Live platform
But back to my question... Can a website have more than one (1) "home page"?

Nevermind - I found out the answer ! I called Apple support. For some reason it took them a little while to get what I was asking (they really need to train their techs better, I guess)... But I finally found out that only one "home page" per website is allowed (I don't know if this is a federal law or internet law or other law)... At least I won't be looking for additional homepages on a website, as I hve been all day today (I thought homepages were types of web pages -- I didn't know they were the intro pages for websites...
It's in the works! (Might take a minute though, as all of my posts besides the majority of those on this topic have been real questions... I will get to work, though, and arrange a lovely mix (a compedium?) of humor, jesting, facetiousness, and pure rugged skill aimed directly at the "Tru TV" audience, as well as those who quite simply get bored sometimes (like me)... i dunno... lol
