I'm not quite sure how to get into modular units

you have a great level musical output, stay the course with making tunes and not mucking around with new gear. modular would be interesting but lower your musical output, a machinedrum will keep you churning out music which is the best way to get really good at it.

it won't be soon at all, I have a plan not to use the credit card for any music gear from here on out so the plan is to put $100 out of each paycheck into my savings. so for the machinedrum I'll be waiting almost 9 months unless I buy used. but I don't particularly like to buy used with such an expensive purchase especially when it's still in production.

the modular would be built over time, but it wouldn't start really shaping up for the same amount of time. I would just be gradually buying it over the whole 9 months as opposed to waiting till the end.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
