That is a load of utter Gobbshite - I scored 21% fluctuating to 23% max on a 3.2ghz H/T P4 i865 1gig ram etc etc .
So you're PIII 700mhz has more processing power yawn.
There's no way known that would even test lower than a G4 1.5ghz P/B I'm afraid.
What did you do?
Delete all the samples and not have any effects running and un route the multi outputs from the impulse :roll: .

not if your peaks are 34%. more on par with an Athlon 2400.

I have an older machine, so I never bothered to run this as I knew it would probably bring it to its knees, but it held its own quite well, much to my surprise...

1) 65% if I turn the Reverb off. 111% if it's on.
2) Desktop iMac G4 17" widescreen (the "desklamp" model from 2002)
3) 10.3.7 (surprise to me, I thought I grabbed 10.3.8 already)
4) 800 Mhz, yeah baby.
5) 768 MB ram
6) Motu 828 (1st generation)
7) I don't know the HD speed for certain


So, yeah...that Reverb is a killer. Turning it off knocked the CPU meter down to about 65% with no audio glitches or stutters. Turning it on caused all hell to break loose. Oh well.

god damn! 939 all the way!!!! I think this is the best I've seen so far, this athlon 64 chip is seriously blowing my mind... in every audio app I've seen, this chip is smoking everything out there... even chips 2/3 times it's price.

yes that would affect performance a bit I would bet. The standard rule with hard drives is 75% or less is best. OSX defrags on the fly as you use files and move data, but it needs room to do this.

Though the 75% rule is not OS dependent at all. Some people go as low as 70% on it to be safe. get another hard drive. Do you only have on in your dual?
