Getting a revelation while taking a dump is quite a common thing... actually

We in the Church of the SubGenius call it Excremeditation.

kinda disappointed with the last 5 minutes of the episode. it was just like dexter, and almost seems too easy. I woulda preferred they find the son flynn doing blue crystal meth.

Exactly the plot twist I've been hoping for.

I think it would be justice if Walt got killed by a random meth addict mugging him for drug money and not knowing who he is.

Actually I’d find that ending very unsatisfying and would be lazy writing comparably to the rest of the show. The cancer can come back but that better not be the big climax.

But has there ever been an ending to any show as great as Breaking Bad that was satisfactory to a lot of people?

I am going to get the Jesse haircut right after work today because it’s easily manageable and I don’t give a fuck.

Plus I can’t pull off that 60’s emo crap cut that is all the rage right now.

They didnt say/show it directly... so we really dont know yet.

Maybe he gets shanked?

Speaking of, great choice of music for the shank scene...

He's shown taking medicine and coughing in the opening scene of the first episode of this season, which is set over one year later than the rest of 5th season. Fairly direct.

I'm assuming spoilers are OK in a thread like this??

::::::::SPOILERS:::::::::::::::

the biggest surprise of this episode, imo, wasn't Hank finally figuring it out, but rather the completely unexpected fact that WALT QUIT !!! ??? I think they did a good job setting this up -- mostly through long shots of him staring into space, happens like three different times (before taking care of the body, while setting up the prison killings, and then in the back yard staring into the pool.....) showing him clearly feeling "different" about what was going on.....and then, bam, he's out and telling Skyler about it.

based on all the predictions re: super villian Walt going on in this thread alone, I'm guessing most people didn't see this turn of events coming. I certainly didn't.

Well no, and I guess they wouldn't have been doing a good job if we could have seen it coming. It's actually a great twist if he has actually quit only to have to then face the consequences of Hank finding out.

But the question still remains… who is that M60 for…?
