What needs to happen is that the west needs to move it's big fat selfish ass on out of there, pay the going rate for what them folks have got,, allow same them folks to make their own decisions on how best they see fit to do that business and also be able to choose the currency they wish to do that business with.
The west also needs to stop this hypocritical double standard of using "Human rights abuse issues" as the excuse to go about fucking these places up. We need to start applying those same standards and ideals on our selves and with out covering up the fact that more often than not we don't. What we do have that most of these other places don't have is a much better command of the English language, and so are more able to change the way we describe these actions to folks back home using oxymoronic terms such as peace keeping force, Collateral damage, Known unknowns, friendly aggressive, preemptive strike, and so on, while bending other terms to our own ends by misapplying them as we see fit,,,
We also seem to be able to convince our selves that all of these people are some how not as benevolent as us, come from cultures that are some how more aggressive and not as progressive as ours and that the majority of these other places populations are dumb as stumps,,,
We need to wake the fuck up,,

This is a music forum,, it has a wide and diverse user base with many and varied opinions and social/national/cultural backgrounds,, i can't think of a better place to have these kinds of conversations.

And your point? It talks about War, death and killing in the old testament so its the same thing? I'm an Atheist but I do remember reading that when younger. It's not the same thing. The new testament of the Bible took all that away with Jesus who died for everyones sins etc etc etc. So every time a person tries to compare the Bible to the Qur'an via the old testament they are the ones who are really the fool.
