NICE! Modular + live is a winner =)

Yes, indeed. I enjoy patching the modular with self-playing patches, recording long passages, and chopping up bits into usable samples in Ableton. It's a lot of fun.

I used 2 led bars from a car shop, which is powered by a DC adapter, with a cigarette lighter type end and then a splitter on that.

so... DC Adapter > Splitter > Lights.

Them speaker stands you've got your KRK's on, did you make them yourself? No problems with resonance or vibrations?

Hmm...that's not something I'm willing to add up for fear my wife might read this thread someday. Modular setups are expensive, yes, but I'm sometimes more of a "process" person than a "results" person, and it works well for me. As it's difficult to see the particular modules involved, here's a list (clockwise from top left):

Tiptop Z3000 Oscillator (vanilla osc, but full featured. FM is good, 1v/oct pass through is cool)
Tiptop Z2040 Filter (similar to Prophet 5)
Doepfer Mult (signal splitting utility)
Wiard/Malekko "Uncle" Oscillator (can be a standard osc, but has great multi-outs and phase stuff)
Wiard/Malekko Anti-Oscillator (waveshaper, crazy FM, triangle oscillator)
Wiard/Malekko Borg 2 Filter (vactrol based, great low pass gate)
Wiard Malekko Envelator (simple envelope gen with some interesting cycling features)
Wiard/Malekko Noisering (this one's hard to explain...noise, quasi-random voltages, etc)
Doepfer A-138-B Exponential Mixer (for audio signals primarily, but will work with cv as well)
Makenoise Maths (Buchla-esque cv processing)
MFB VCA (you can never have enough VCA's)
Doepfer A-183-2 (offset, attenuator, polarizer utility, helps tame the Noisering)
Doepfer A-156 Quantizer (quantizes CV signals, helps tame the Noisering)
Doepfer A-132-3 VCA

It's a small system, but when paired with Silent Way and Ableton, I can create everything from simple "standard" monosynth sounds to crazy droning aleatoric soundscapes. There are some modules I'd like to add to the system, but I'm at a point where I'm pretty happy with the capabilities. Modulars are, however, time-suckers in the extreme. It's easy to spend an entire day tweaking one patch, ending up with hours of recorded material that never see the light of day. On the other hand, I find that when I pull up Zebra or Massive (my two most used softsynths), I typically sift through presets until I find something close to what I'm looking for and tweak to my tastes...never starting from scratch. There are no presets on a modular unless you leave the patch cables plugged in from the night before...even then, it never sounds quite the same.
