I'll speak for the simpletons here. If it wasn't for the dude cutting his arm off I would have zero interest in the movie, none. In fact even knowing he cut his arm off I have zero interest in the movie and the previews don't exactly paint a compelling reason to see the movie. It looks like a movie made for the "I don't even own a television" demographic. I own a television and I watch it frequently.

Nice usage of Antonioni's Zabriskie Point in a music video:
Moths - <3 on Vimeo (half spoiler alert? not really eh? - cautious now…)
Love Antonioni's stuff...
Sound starting @1:42 = highly confusing on headphones. Impulse response through impulse response???

Nevermind the fact the original news story was broadcast ad-fucking-nauseum around the world.
Nevermind that there was enormous press coverage when Danny Boyle announced he was going to do the film.
Nevermind there was nonstop coverage and news reports and reviews when the movie was released and nearly every single one revealed the arm incident. NPR alone must have done 50 fucking shows and interviews about this movie.
You'd have to live in a cave to not know about this.

OK, you found out my secret

No you don't! You'll never truly understand us or the Universe until you make a pilgrimage to the Coral Castle.
