I'm coming to berlin in October-ish. Hopefully there is another meeting then
düSlair - we start at 8PM. hope to see you there!düSlair wrote:shai wrote:thank you Axel for the last gathering!
i'm using this thread to let those (2 ?) of you who are not using facebook, know about the second Open Laptop Jam session, same place, same time. that is, thursday, 23rd of July, in Supersonic, Weichselstr. 15, 12405 Berlin.
p.s.
not to confuse laptop with laptop. the "Battle" (see signature) is another project which i am, accidentally (or not) organizing, too. there are no battles with the Jam laptops. non. at all.
what time would that be? i´d come to watch if its an open Session...?
maybe i´ll learn something as a total newbie....
cheers
At least there will be the battle (see shais signature)...timothyallan wrote:I'm coming to berlin in October-ish. Hopefully there is another meeting then

Nice to meet you yesterday! Yeah, interface helps, but I forgot to mention that you can also prelisten/cue without an external interface, just by splitting up left and right channels, e.g. left = main, right = cue. Just an idea... anyway, see you next time!düSlair wrote:I enjoyed it too.
great experience!!
like i said. as soon as i have an interface i´ll join you!!
Hey esky, nice you were there too - did we meet, I always forget to ask people their forum names?esky wrote:Nice performance yesterday, with a sometimes very dominant Miles Davis trumpet guy (:-)), but with also some very creative people around. Good fun..!
Thanks for the organising, shai - it's nice not knowing what to expect each time, lots of variety in the people and the music, look forward to the next one!shai wrote:i enjoyed it too. it's always on the next day , where i really learn to appreciate. i spent all the morning making music and realised how inspiring it actually was yesterday.
