I was quoted $499 for the full version @ Guitar Center, but they didn't have any within 50 miles of me.

I was quoted for $499 at GC as well. Got it open box as well, so it was $450 even though it wasn't even used

GC website says $599 but if you ask the employee at the store they'll say $499.


Made 3 wicked beats this weekend on Maschine. Such a great workflow....

Oh yes this is a Maschine and Ableton love thread so gotta love both.

I've been with abes since V1- when they called sequencing instrument. The product was right and excelled in what it did.

With introduction of suite it has swelled, bloated with a fair portion of gas! I still use live and love it, but the Suite is hopeless- obviously it is with reference to the price i paid for the upgrade. The intent to purchase was good ... the product definitely is not.

I can't believe we've created a 27-page long e-HardOn for Maschine.

Wicked.

If I buy this thing and hate it, I'm going to do one of those things where I beg online for money from all you guys.

quick question about machine pads. Are they like the korg pads or are they circle. The ability of machine looks amazing. I am just wondering about the actual pads. I have not had time to get to guitar center or sam ashe and could not find anything via google or Ni website.

Thanks guys if the pads are solid like the korg I will snag one within the week.

If you'd take the plunge and look at on of the first pages of this thread lovedose, there's plenty of information about the pads!
And as Subfunk described several times, these both pads compared, it's almost 97% the same feeling... am I right Axel!?
I tried them, liked them and wanna buy them...
If it's just the triggering the Korg should fit your needs, BUT...:
if you like having a perfect match Beatworkstation and got the cash and start reading into this thread.....GET THE MASCHINE!
