MidiPads
The 'full' version is finally out. It's amazing. Finally: every pad can also be an XY AND send out multiple messages.
You can also customize the layout somewhat...

Oh, yeah. Works perfect with Live. All the magic happens within the app (toggle modes, assigning CCs/Notes, XY settings, etc. So with Live all you do is MIDI map and you're on your way.

The wifi connection over a Mac MIDI network works great, as does the USB/Camera Connection Kit.

I'm having trouble getting MIDI feedback to work (sending MIDI back to the app), but will hopefully sort that out soon.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE HAVE OUT FIRST SYNTH APP THAT HAS SUCCESSFULLY INCORPORATED WORKING MIDI SYNC!

And it's a fucking doozie of an app. SynthX. The most butt-ugly yet geeky cool Atari like interface and WICKED analog synth sounds.

Image

The LFO is MIDI sync'd. And it works. JOY. Why he didn't sync that fucking delay parameter I'll never know. :x I connected via OSX MIDI Network, and that beautiful clock bpm changed right along with my changes in Live. Haven't tried it yet with the CCK, but that's next.

But still...we now have two apps that have gotten MIDI sync to work: Molten and SynthX.

Watch the vid. Synth sound goodness.

An update for SampleLab and some good new features:

* Punch-in loopbox style recording on each track allowing for recording layers of loops live.
* Beat recording with improved quantization.
* MIDI input support: trigger samples and record beats with a MIDI controller to get variable velocity and lower latency.
* Use MIDI to punch-in/out for pedalboard hands-free looping.
* Plug & play support for Akai LPD8 and Behringer FCB1010.
* New buttons: |<< button to start track from beginning to aid syncing and new buttons in the sequencer to reorder patterns.
• Many bug fixes and minor tweaks per user requests. Thanks for your suggestions and bug submissions.

http://www.audiorealism.se/technobox2/index.htm

technoBox2 is the next version of our hugely popular technoBox adding many asked for features such as dual 303s and drum machines, export recordings of songs and SoundCloud integration. A performance page has been added which allows access to the most commonly used controls on one page. The drum machines now allow you to load your own samples (via iTunes documents). technoBox2 runs on iPad and retina displays with crisp native resolution.

Currently still in the approval process, but it'll be up any day now.

Ho! What's this!!!??

The iElectribe has just been updated to support MIDI In and Clock Sync!!!

I take back all the mean things I've said about Korg.

Oh wait. They updated the iMS-20 but didn't add MIDI Send or clock support. :x

I suspect that was just to torture you for longer, Loopz. You should feel honored.

Still, I cannot be a dick about this. Big props to Korg for updating the iElectribe.

I gotta think the great iMS-20 can't be far behind. Can you image? That app? With it's awesome sequencer? MIDI sync?

Oh my.
