Am I am excited about it? No.

The iPad 2 is damn near perfection and they probably won’t do about the only thing that would interest me, models with a drive capacity larger than 64G. I couldn’t give less of a shit about a retina display or better cameras. They’ll possibly shave some weight off of it but I don’t think it will be that substantial, maybe compared to a 1 but not to a 2.

I still don't believe the Retina display rumors.

Think about how much the thunderbolt display costs.

Now think about how much the iPad would cost if you crammed that display into 10 inches. Not gonna happen

The only move Apple's got for the iPad 3 will be a DIFFERENT SIZE = something Jobs was dead-set against. Retina isn't going to be enough. More storage isn't going to be enough. If you could double or triple the processing power....maybe enough. But even then, all apps run just fine on the iPad2.

I confess...would not mind something in a true 16:9 screen size. Mirroring onto a widescreen TV with the iPad 2 is kinda 'meh'. Who the fuck wants those black bars? lol.

I'm always using apps with sound and my hand is either muffling it or killing it.

And probably a bit much to ask but I wish it had speakers on all 4 corners. When running apps in landscape mode it's a little annoying having all the sound come out of just the left side or just the right side.
